South Central Regional Land Conservation Alliance

Who We Are:

The South Central Regional Land Conservation Alliance (SCRLCA) is a regional conservation partnership (RCP) consisting of land trusts, town commissions, environmental groups, and other like-minded organizations whose purpose is to work together to have a greater impact preserving open space in south central Connecticut. Visit our News /Projects page to see what we are currently working on and hope to do.

Vision:

To create an interconnected open space landscape including forests, fields, and waterways in south central Connecticut. Working as a regional organization, we have a greater ability to understand, promote and protect the environment on a landscape scale. This approach will promote natural habitats and pathways while enriching the quality of life for all who live, work and recreate in the region.

Mission:

The SCRLCA promotes the protection and conservation of open space in south central Connecticut by collaborating across boundaries to foster a stronger connection between people and nature.
