The South Central Regional Land Conservation Alliance (SCRLCA) is a regional conservation partnership (RCP) consisting of land trusts, town commissions, environmental groups, and other like-minded organizations whose purpose is to work together to have a greater impact preserving open space in south central Connecticut. To create an interconnected open space landscape including forests, fields, and waterways in south central Connecticut. Working as a regional organization, we have a greater ability to understand, promote and protect the environment on a landscape scale. This approach will promote natural habitats and pathways while enriching the quality of life for all who live, work and recreate in the region.
The SCRLCA promotes the protection and conservation of open space in south central Connecticut by collaborating across boundaries to foster a stronger connection between people and nature.
